Commercial Roadside Tire Technician

Job Summary:
Monro, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Roadside Tire Technician to join our Commercial Tire Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for tire and related service repairs for the commercial trucking industry. Responsibilities:

• Dismount and mount all types of tires on various rim types, including drop center, semi-drop center, and multi-piece rims.
• Assess tire conditions for repairability and perform necessary repairs.
• Remove tires for retreading or repair as needed.
• Match mating of dual assemblies to ensure proper alignment.
• Inflate tires to the prescribed PSI according to load requirements.
• Clean and maintain service equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Accurately execute required billing documents for all services provided.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be, or willing to become, TIA certified (training provided).
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme heat and cold.
• Excellent safety record and strong attendance.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner at all times.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 months of relevant service experience preferred.

Salary:

• Hourly range: Minimum wage up to $32.00 per hour, based on experience level.
• Eligible for additional compensation and incentives.
