Job Duties and Responsibilities of Receiving Manager:

• Manage various aspects of warehouse operations such as handling incoming shipments, storing products, processing customer orders, and arranging for the dispatch of items.
• Manage, monitor, and offer assistance to warehouse personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure the safe and accurate processing of materials from their arrival to the time they are dispatched.
• Check and adjust inventory imbalances while ensuring the precision of stock records.
• Review the current methods in place and introduce modifications as required.
• Inform the team about the objectives and priorities outlined by management.
• Accurately manage and securely process all relevant documentation in a timely manner.
• Embrace the importance of maintaining a warehouse space that is clean, orderly, and dedicated to safety.
• Behave in a professional manner when representing the organization.

Qualifications and Experience of Receiving Manager:

• Completion of high school or a similar qualification is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license with a record of driving in good standing is required.
• Sound comprehension of warehouse management and logistical operations.
• Exceptional aptitude in interpersonal communication, finding solutions, and coordinating tasks proficiently.
• Established track record of efficiently leading and coaching a team.
• Diligent consideration with a concentration on correctness and productivity.
• Skilled in managing multiple tasks at once and expert at arranging tasks in order of importance.
• Aspiration for personal and professional progression while working for the organization.
• Candidates must have either a college degree or four years of relevant work experience.
• Possessing a track record of leading and directing teams for a minimum of two years.
• Involvement in wholesaling operations.
• Involvement in the process of hiring, instructing, and enhancing the skills of employees.
• The work is conducted in a warehouse atmosphere, involving outdoor responsibilities and periodic trips to locations outside the main site.
• Necessitates being on one’s feet, flexing, turning, stretching, ambulating, crouching, and going up stairs.
• Proficiency in carrying and relocating items that are up to 50 pounds without requiring assistance.
• Fluency in English speaking and comprehension is a requirement.
