Job Summary of Goods Transporter:

This role involves making local deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers and suppliers. Responsibilities include preparing and loading materials, operating and maintaining company vehicles, and assisting in the development of customer relationships. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Goods Transporter:

• Operate a motor vehicle while complying with the safety regulations and standards of the organization.
• Execute the task of moving materials by loading and unloading them for delivery and collection in different areas.
• Execute the prompt and professional transportation and recovery of merchandise.
• Carry out daily assessments and basic care for company vehicles as part of routine maintenance.
• Quickly communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience of Goods Transporter:

• Skillfulness in inspecting, safely operating, and maintaining a motorized vehicle.
• Skilled at moving and unloading materials in warehouse and construction site scenarios.
• Basic proficiency in reading and math is a prerequisite for accurate order picking and precise documentation.
• Preferential consideration given to those with prior delivery experience.
• CDL not required.
